How Did Ahsoka Tano Get Her White Lightsabers?

After leaving the Jedi Order and surviving Order 66, Ahsoka Tano went into hiding. She lived a quiet life on the moon Raada, working as a farmer and collecting scrap metal—though she didn’t fully understand why at the time.
The Threat Returns
Ahsoka’s peace was shattered when she discovered that an Inquisitor, the Sixth Brother, had taken one of her friends captive. Seeking a new Kyber crystal, she traveled to Ilum, only to find it under Imperial occupation. Yet through the Force, she was guided not forward—but back to Raada.
A Duel Without a Blade
Still unarmed, Ahsoka confronted the Sixth Brother. In a desperate battle, she used the Force to rip the corrupted Kyber crystals from his lightsaber mid-combat. The crystals destabilized his blade, causing it to overload and explode, killing the Inquisitor instantly.
The Birth of the White Lightsabers
The crystals Ahsoka recovered had been bled red by the dark side. But through intense meditation and her deep connection to the Force, she purified them, transforming their color to pure white—a symbol of her independence from both the Jedi and the Sith.
Using the scrap metal she had instinctively gathered, Ahsoka crafted twin lightsaber hilts, forging the iconic white-bladed sabers that would become her signature weapons throughout Star Wars Rebels, The Mandalorian, and beyond.
